Data protection / Access data

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Swiss Confederation (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person has the right to protection of his or her privacy and to protection against misuse of his or her personal data. We comply with these provisions. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties.

In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect the databases as well as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or falsification.

When you access our web pages, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and general transmitted information about the operating system or browser. This usage data forms the basis for statistical, anonymous evaluations, so that trends can be identified, which we can use to improve our offers accordingly. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete indications.

Privacy policy for use of Google Analytics

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or telephone number. But also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were viewed by someone count as personal data.

Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is permitted by law or the users consent to the data collection.

Privacy policy for online applications

The protection of your personal data is important to us. You acknowledge the data protection information by checking the electronic box provided for this purpose when registering for the online application.

We collect and process personal data from applicants for the purpose of processing the application procedure. By entering your data, you consent to the use and processing of your data.

In the course of your online application, we will store the personal data you submit in an applicant database. This includes all data provided in the form such as title, surname, first name, nationality, date of birth, gender as well as the usual correspondence data such as postal address, telephone number and e-mail address. In addition, all documents submitted by you in connection with the application, such as letters of motivation, curriculum vitae, references, diplomas/certificates, etc., as well as application data such as notice period or entry date, are recorded.

The data you submit will be used exclusively for processing the application procedure. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

It is important to us to ensure the highest possible protection of your personal data. Your provided data will be protected with appropriate measures against unauthorized use.

We use the e-recruiting solution of the company Ostendis AG in 5706 Boniswil, which takes over the data storage in relation to application documents and offers processes for processing this data in the sense of commissioned data processing. In the process, personal data is neither analyzed in detail by machine nor are automated data processing procedures used for decision-making. If an employment contract is concluded with an applicant, the transmitted data will be stored and further processed for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with legal requirements. If no employment contract is concluded, we reserve the right to retain your application documents for a maximum of 2 years even after the application process has been completed, so that we can contact you if necessary to fill further positions (talent pool). If you do not agree with this practice, please inform us of this in writing to jobs@althaus-ag.ch.
