WeiterlesenThe successful certification of our environmental management system according to the internationally recognized ISO 14001:2015 standard is an important step and confirms our environmentally conscious and sustainable commitment.
Due to the globally recognized environmental issues and the pressing nature of this topic in society, a careful environmental commitment is essential for our actions from an ecological, economic, and social perspective. We voluntarily make this contribution out of conviction.
This mainly involves responsible management of natural resources, efficient use of energy and raw materials, compliance with binding obligations, and targeted risk prevention.
By promoting an environmentally conscious culture and innovation, we set our own goals for implementation and reduce potential impacts of our business activities on the environment.
The certification is a first milestone for us. The task now is to continue pursuing our environmental policy and to systematically optimize and improve our processes and procedures.
We look forward to further important milestones and are proud to contribute tangibly to environmental protection.

This year, the group consists of four automation technicians, one automation technician, one logistician, and one commercial apprentice.
The first week served as an introductory week. During this time, the young professionals got to know their training company and its employees and were introduced to their new working environment. This year, W. Althaus AG also conducted the "Apprentice Inside" day. On this outing, which was exclusively for apprentices, they had the opportunity to exchange ideas with their peers and gather tips for their training.
Since the "Surprise Day" was very well received last year, it couldn’t be missed this year. Once again, the excursion destination was the Forum Sumiswald. The first and fourth-year apprentices were able to challenge themselves in archery, climbing, pétanque, and bowling.
W. Althaus AG wishes the five automation apprentices Enrico, Noémie, Tim, Timon, and Remo, the commercial apprentice Alain, and the logistics apprentice Djark a great start to their professional lives and much success and joy in their training.
